What is ozone ?

Ozone is natures way of purifying the air that we breath

Hi-Shock Ozone is created by passing Oxygen (O₂) over high voltage plates inside the generator Extra oxygen atom attaches to organic or chemical pollutants; oxidizing, disinfecting and de-odorizing Ozone (O₃) is generated and begins to seek organic matter.

In the upper atmosphere Ozone protects our planet from harmful ultraviolet radiation. Closer to earth, Ozone is widely used to purify and sanitize the water we drink, the food we eat and the air that we breathe. Long used in medical therapies, Ozone
shows a remarkable anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal kill rate.

Ozone (O₃) is an unstable form of Oxygen that has three atoms instead of the more common two (O₂). As a gas it is highly mobile and can dilute into the air, flow over surfaces and seep into fabrics and crevices.

This unstable third molecule seeks out other organic molecules that form many of the indoor pollutants around us. Whether these pollutants are from biological or chemical sources, Ozone will rapidly oxidize them by reverting to O₂ and depositing the third Oxygen molecule (O₁) on the offending pollutant; effectively de-odorizing, disinfecting or destroying many of the pathogens and fumes that poison indoor air.

Ozone, when continuously applied in Hi-Powered concentrations, is an effective, safe and economical method of reducing common household bacteria, molds and viruses in kitchens, bathrooms, car airconditioning systems and our air that we breathe. By oxidizing the by-products of decay, Ozone rapidly eliminates the allergens (food source) from dust mites and other arthropods.
